New animation explains PayPlan’s Data Sharing Service for individuals and their creditors.
Thousands of customers receive debt advice each year. Yet, they remain invisible to their creditors because they don’t pro-actively share their income and expenditure and advice outcomes.
To solve this problem, we launched our industry-first data sharing service in January 2019. With consent, creditors receive their customer’s full income and expenditure, vulnerability information and PayPlan’s advice recommendation.
People only have to complete one income and expenditure, which is then shared with participating creditors, enabling them easier access to breathing space. This service has solved the perceived ‘debt advice black hole’ and created a more joined up and transparent experience for customers and their creditors.

Digital debt advice
The new Secure Referral form also launched last year. The new form makes it easier for creditors and partners to refer a client and their information to avoid duplication. Thousands of people reach PayPlan every month via partners using their secure form.
New features include:
Date picker – easily select the preferred contact date and time
Preferred contact method – select phone or email
Reason for referral – add additional information that will help us to understand their situation and help reduce duplication
